Forum on Intercultural Dialogue

The forum will bring together 30 participants from local and international non-governmental organisations. Participants will be representatives of those NGOs, working with the people, thus having active experience in intercultural dialogue-related issues at local level. Among other things they will have experience in working with minority and religious communities, social exclusion, discrimination and issues of racism. They will be interested in undertaking or continuing intercultural dialogue activities after the event. Some participants will be actively engaged at local and national levels in the European Youth-Campaign "All Different, All Equal" currently being implemented by the Council of Europe.

The Forum on Intercultural Dialogue will be held from 18 October 2007 (arrival) to 23 October 2007 (departure), in Timisoara, Romania. Participants are expected to attend the whole duration of the Forum. Exact times and travel information will be given to the selected participants after the application process.

The travel expenses and accommodation of participants will be borne by the Council of Europe. Meals will be provided for all participants.
