We are really glad to welcome you to the AIM in Italy 2008. We hope that you will find the following information helpful in making your plans to attend the AIM 2008.

The theme

“PEACE EDUCATION IN THE MULTICULTURAL CITY” will be the name of the AIM 2008. The name and the theme associated with it were carefully chosen out of many suggestions. The staff will try to help make this AIM into a very creative meeting, and we wish to make sure to give the best opportunities to all participants, from chairs to observers, experienced to first timers, to really feel that this is a creative meeting.

Online Registration/Application Form

The deadline for registration is January 15, 2008. The AIM 2008 team has arranged with the venue to provide conference facilities for 300 participants. Late applications will be accepted only if space is available. There is no automatic registration, and therefore everyone is requested to complete the online Registration/Application Form http://www.it.cisv.org/archive/AIMForm. Please see section 13, 15, 18 and 19.

As part of the registration process it is compulsory to register on CISV Friends http://friends.cisv.org and to claim participation on the activity AIM 2008.

Each claim will be approved by the registration team as soon as the online form http://www.it.cisv.org/archive/AIMForm has been processed and confirmed.

As part of this integration effort the registration form will include a compulsory field "CISV Friends Registration ID" which is displayed in the "My Profile" page of "CISV Friends".

The Registration/Application Form must be completed by January 15, 2008 and Deposit Confirmation Form must be received at the AIM Office by January 15, 2008.
